Before Your Appointment

Please ensure that you:

Patient Location Requirement

For legal and licensing purposes, patients must be physically located in either Washington or Arizona at the time of every telehealth appointment.

Even if you permanently reside in Washington or Arizona, we cannot legally provide care while you are physically located in another state during your appointment. Telehealth practice is generally governed by the laws of the state where the patient is physically located at the time of the visit. (telehealth.hhs.gov)

At the beginning of every appointment, you will be asked to confirm:

  • Your current physical address

  • Your state of location

  • A telephone number in case the video connection is interrupted

  • An emergency contact when appropriate

If you are traveling outside Washington or Arizona, please contact our office before your appointment so we can determine whether your visit must be rescheduled.
